SST003 Canister Set (Metal)

These new metal canisters are exactly what was needed. The clear plastic units had a tendency to crack which is not good when daily usage and uninterrupted performance is required. While clear housings are nice, they are completely unnecessary when routine scheduled filter service is practiced!

Have owned a MegaFlow Dryer/Regulator for a couple of years now, and have been impressed with how dry it keeps my shop compressed air for powder/ceramic coating and air tool use. My only issue with the MegaFlow has been the plastic canisters shattering, I've had two break on me, literally shattering with the air system under pressure. SST has been great sending me replacement parts, but I was looking for a more sturdy solution, and these aluminum metal bowls are certainly that! Although you can't see through them, I'm happy to trade this off with the aluminum bowl robustness. It was innovative of SST to offer see through bowls on the MegaFlow, but best to stick with metal.
