I, like others, am desperate for a DeWALT version. Please consider satisfying that pent up demand!
After having cobbled together multiple crude iterations myself (including the bread cart mod) and having seen some really excellent custom-built creations in plywood, someone has finally made a sturdy, well-constructed commercial option for bin storage. Well done!
Rarely write reviews but this thing is awesome. Very solid construction and easy to put together. Everything lined up, no hardware shortages, and no mis threaded holes. American Made Quality. Nice to see this.
Love the rack. It's a little pricey, but the quality is well worth it. Very sturdy, easy to assemble, looks great in the garage next to my tool box.
They're missing out on an opportunity though. Going to get a 12x18" wood cutting board, drill four holes into it, and screw it into the top so the top is another workspace. Should be able to do this for about ten bucks. Kind of surprised they aren't offering something like that as an add on. Pretty simple addition.
I graduated from storing everything in a coffee cup to those beautiful Stanley black and yellow cases. They looked great stacked up like little tool shrines, but every time I needed something, they were piled on top of each other like a Tetris tower from hell. And the one I needed was always at the very bottom. I broke into a sweat just trying to find a washer.
Then came this beast. This cabinet is not just storage, it is a lifestyle upgrade. It is a five star hotel for screws, bolts, nuts, and all those tiny parts that used to disappear into the abyss. Every drawer glides open like it is proud to show off what is inside. My screws now sleep peacefully. My wing nuts have room to breathe. My bolts have stopped fighting with my drywall anchors and so easy to find.
And let me tell you, this thing is solid. This is not some IKEA flimsy flat pack you slap together with an Allen wrench and a prayer. This thing demands respect. You will need actual tools and maybe a bit of technical skill. If you try to assemble it with the little bent metal L key, you might walk away with carpal tunnel and a broken spirit. But once it is together, you will stand back and admire it like you just built a vault for hardware royalty.
The only thing missing is an optional wooden top. Seriously, if the folks at RSS, Real Stupid Stuff, are listening, that would be a game changer. And no, that is not an insult. You make great stuff. But a wooden top? Now that is the kind of real stupid idea I could get behind. An even better idea is perhaps including just few additional channel nuts one can use to create his own masterpiece for the top securing it in place ,once this shrine is built.
