Mechanical Design Engineer

We are looking for a Mechanical Engineer to join our team!


DUTIES: Use 3D CAD programs (Autodesk Inventor and Solidworks) to design mechanical systems, tools and machine parts that used to be in the industry. Deliver completed designs, using best drafting practices per GD&T standards along with clear and well documented analysis reports. Create and review engineering documentation including schematics, clear requirements, design reviews, bill of materials, technical drawings, and other necessary deliverables. Develop and test the alternate designs and fabrication methods to assess feasibility, sustainability, operation condition effects, and necessity modifications. Use creative thinking and novel manufacturing solutions to solve complex problems regarding to mass production.
Provide manufacturing decision-making information by performing time studies, calculating production, labor, and material costs; reviewing production schedules; estimating future requirements. Develop, coordinate, and monitor all aspects of fabrication and logistics. Schedule and basic budget track the new and ongoing projects.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

SPECIAL SKILLS: N/A
HOURS: 40 hrs/wk; 8 AM – 5 PM, M – F.
SALARY/OVERTIME: $61,440 - $65,280 per year.
